Premium chocolate company launches rebrand
Premium chocolate company K Shocolât has unveiled its exciting new brand at ISM, the worlds largest confectionery trade fair in Cologne. The company used the international event to launch its fresh and iconic design and its latest range of products.
The first collection under the refreshed brand will include some classic products such as the K Shocolât Dipping Kit, Hot Choc and its infamous chilli pecans, as well as some exciting new additions such as Chocolate Covered Pretzels and Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles.
Brand Manager for K Shocolât, Kate Methuen, said, “K Shocolât has always been a strong brand but we felt that we needed to refresh the image and to improve its consistency and focus.
“We are extremely proud of the brand we have created and hope that by continuing to use quality ingredients, rich flavours and elegant high quality packaging we will appeal directly to our target audience.”
The company engaged London-based design firm, R Design, to carry out a rebrand in order to re-establish K Shocolât’s status as a stylish and high quality product.
Kate added, “The quality and design of the packaging was vital to us which is why we chose to work with R Design. High end chocolate needs stylish and contemporary packaging to engage shoppers and reflect their exclusive styles and tastes.”
Following the trade launch at ISM 2011, the new range will be available for consumers later this year.
Established in 2003, K Shocolât was one of the fastest growing premium chocolate brands and was the first company to bring the ‘chilli chocolate’ and ‘lemon and black pepper’ flavours to the UK.
Owners Bon Bon Buddies are aiming to increase distribution of K Shocolât’s products in upmarket retailers and boost online sales, as well as tackling the European market, where it already has a strong presence with K Shocolât and its other confectionary products.
